If you find your GRS machine isn't performing like it once did, it might be time for service or repair. Here you can find an outline of our in-house repair process and a general estimate* of repair cost for serviceable machines.

Foot Control
Estimated Repair: $65 + Shipping

  • Replace bleed shaft
  • Refinish outlet face
  • Free upgrade to current model specs
  • Install 6 ft hose
  • Check for leakage and set throttle opening

Classic GraverMax or GraverMate
Estimated Repair: $160 + Shipping

  • Replace hoses, regulator filter
  • Clean rotary valve and rotor
  • Check motor/valve alignment
  • Replace electrical cords if ground tang has been removed
  • Replace O-ring drive
  • Install new compression nut sleeves
  • Rebuild foot control
  • Complete test run

GraverMax SC, GraverMach, GraverMax G8, GraverMach AT
No Oil Contamination, Circuit Board / Motor Working
Estimated Repair: $160 + Shipping

  • Replace hoses
  • Clean rotary valve and rotor
  • Replace filter element
  • Install any upgrades (ground wire, hose clamp on aux. air valve, etc.)
  • Check leakage rates
  • Rebuild foot control
  • Complete test run

GraverMax SC, GraverMach, GraverMax G8, GraverMach AT
Suspected or Known Oil Contamination, Circuit Board / Motor Working
Estimated Repair: $180 + Shipping

  • Replace hoses
  • Clean rotary valve and rotor
  • Replace filter element
  • Disassemble and sonic clean regulator, rotary valve and air filter housing
  • Empty air tank and flush
  • Clean machine interior
  • Install any upgrades (ground wire, hose clamp on aux. air valve, etc.)
  • Check leakage rates
  • Rebuild foot control
  • Complete test run

Gravermeister Oil-Type or Oil-Less
Estimated Repair: $220 + Shipping

  • Extensively clean unit
  • Rebuild valve body and replace bushings
  • Replace idler pulley bearing and belt
  • Replace electrical cords if ground tang has been removed
  • Remove and clean oiler jar assembly
  • Check oiler orifice
  • Inspect filter canister
  • Set pressure relief valve to proper pressure
  • Complete test run

* All estimates include parts and labor and DO NOT include shipping costs, which are paid by the customer. Some repairs may be covered if product is under warranty. Please note that OIL CONTAMINATION of any GRS machine voids the warranty. If GRS finds that your machine requires more than the outlined servicing and the repair cost will be more than the general estimate, we will contact you to inform you of the additional work and cost.
