Description

Easily shape “C” style bracelets with the GRS Bracelet Former. Form flat strips of metal to a perfect “C” shape after you have engraved your design. The die cup contains a soft alloy material that supports pressure from the die, but does not distort your engraving work. The die cup material can be reformed by heating when necessary.

The GRS Metal Former unit comes with two different fixed die sizes and one adjustable die cup. Metal strips that are 0.25" (6.35mm) up to 1.25" (31.75mm) wide can be formed. Recommended for soft metals such as copper, silver, and gold alloys at a thickness of 0.030" to 0.080" (0.76mm to 2.03mm).

An optional accessory for the GRS Metal Former is the Urethane Die Cup & Flat Die. It includes a conformable urethane die cup and a flat forming die for low dome and other bracelets with flat inside surfaces. It also can be used for non-traditional jewelry metals including some stainless steels up to 0.080" (2mm) thick.
