Those who know Sam Alfano have probably seen a few examples of his beautiful leaf script lettering. While at a trade show in Munich, Sam engraved this stunning script and Dmitry “Dyma” (Dee-ma) Semenets of Antwerp, Belgium set the stones – all as a live demonstration.

This loupe, with its geometric angles, contrasts well with the flowing lines of Sam's leaf script. The shading style brings out a bright distinction between the metal and the engraved lines, which further enhances the precision of each cut. The vines that loop around the letter "G" end with a quick curl and a sparkling stone, a nice touch that unifies the stone setting with the engraving.
