Silver Bracelets (part 1)
Engraver Michael Dubber is proficient in both firearms and jewelry.
He has professionally engraved hundreds of silver bracelets in various patterns over the years.
Mike works in a variety of styles including Bright Cut (Western) style. He is known to blend
elements of Western silver engraving with gun engraving elements to create designs that appeal
to a wide range of people.
Whenever possible, experienced engravers like Mike will engrave bracelets flat and then form them afterward
(for example using GRS Metal Former #004-725). These photos show the bracelet after engraving but before forming.
It is made from domed silver stock 14mm (.55") wide by 2mm (.08") thick; the flat bracelet is 155mm (6.12") long.
Although this photo shows the two blue stones already set, this was to show the finished design. In most cases,
the stones would be set AFTER forming the bracelet into its curved shape because the stress of forming is not good on stones.
Look for more examples of engraved bracelets by other engravers here in the future.
Tools: Engraved with GRS GraverMax.
