The GRS Training Center in Emporia, Kansas, opened its 2007 schedule with a Basic Engraving course taught by Rex Pedersen. Rex loves to teach and purposely makes time for it in a very busy schedule. He is a third generation gunsmith, professional engraver and president of FEGA, the Firearms Engravers Guild of America.

These courses are just one way to learn engraving and similar skills, but most students agree that it’s the most rewarding and fun.
