Steel and copper are hot in the metal arts world with the price of precious metals like gold and silver so high. Copper can be used in many engraving applications, including the jewelry arts.

Glendo founder Donald A. Glaser engraved and wore this copper bracelet. Copper is claimed by many to benefit arthritic joints, so Glaser bent this bracelet to be worn for medicinal purposes. He engraved a nice and simple pattern on the metal before bending it.

In the years since his passing, this bracelet has taken on a beautiful patina that has a rainbow of colors. Whether from constant contact with skin or clothing, the copper changed from it's bright and polished face to one of considerable age and beauty. This is one of the fine aspects of copper jewelry.
