Robert "Bob" Finlay has many talents. One of his most impressive is his engraving skills. Although he hasn't been engraving as long as some, this fine man learned quickly and began a passion for this art that spurred him onto creating such wonderful and complex pieces as this Engraved Microblock.

Countless hours went into carefully plotting, designing, detailing, carving, and sculpting this beautiful block. Originally, this product comes with a small plastic base that is more for function than form. Here, Bob Finlay has created a unified form of art in metal by adding a custom base, which he also engraved and cleverly incorporated gold inlay.

A kickin' miniature spur replaces a standard hex key on this block. This Microblock is perfect and complete in its Western theme, with ropers, riders, livestock, and cowboys panning for gold. To see the various stages of this Microblock, visit the previous Featured Photos below.
