As the title suggests, these bracelet were all done in one week. Students at the GRS Training Center gathered together to learn how to make bracelets from start to finish, and they did just that.
These examples are only part of the work done by the engravers in Diane Scalese's Bracelet Engraving Techniques course. To some of the students, techniques like bright cut and wriggle cut were new styles to incorporate. Gregg Badders, a jeweler by trade who usually works in gold or silver, experienced working in less precious metals like copper and brass.
Dorothy Funk and Shanna Moran, both featured here in years past, had a great time learning how to fabricate bracelets. One technique that Diane showed the students was metal overlay, which can be seen on Moran's bracelet here.
Check out more of the student work from the bracelet course from Sarah Highsmith and Steven Landers on Friday's Featured Photos.
