My First GRS Tool

In the late 1970s I bought my first GRS tool . . . a Gravermeister. When GRS came out with the new GraverMax, I upgraded to it.

Then when they came out with the new GraverMach, I did another upgrade.

When I heard that GRS was developing the Airtact, believe it or not, I wasn’t interested in getting one. I liked my GraverMach so much, I didn’t think anything could replace it.

Knee Surgery

I had a knee surgery that went bad, and lost the use of my leg for about 8 months. Hence, I could not use the foot pedal for my GraverMach.

They were just coming out with the Airtact at that time, and I ordered one.

I cannot believe how easy it is to use, literally, within minutes I was using the Airtact as if I had been using it for years! The versatility is just unbelievable.

I use the Palm Touch Control, the Magnum handpiece, and the Monarch handpiece.

Airtact & GraverMach

One year later, with the use of my leg again, I may on certain occasions unplug my Airtact and use my foot pedal. But most cases, the Airtact is my favorite.

With my GraverMach, Airtact, and hand pieces I have the versatility to work on any type of design or any type of metal.

Whether trying to “hog” out some metal or putting the last piece of hair on an animal, this set up, let’s me accomplish this.

I’m very pleased with the Airtact. I believe it’s on the cutting edge. I would highly recommend it to any engraver.
